Is it free to claim my business?
Yes, claiming your business is completely free. Once claimed, you can choose to upgrade to an Enhanced or Premium plan for additional visibility, but the free listing is yours forever.
What if my business isn't on Google?
No problem. You can list your business directly on Discover Essex by clicking "List Your Business" in the top menu. It's free and takes just a few minutes.
How long does the claim review take?
Most claims are reviewed within 24 hours. You'll receive an email notification once your claim has been approved.
What happens after I claim my business?
Once approved, you'll have full control of your listing. You can update your description, add photos, set opening hours, respond to reviews, and upgrade your plan for more visibility.
Can multiple people claim the same business?
Only one person can own a listing at a time. If someone has already claimed the business, you'll see a notice. Contact us if you believe this is an error.
