Ironmongery Direct is looking for a Distribution Centre Shift Supervisor to help keep our Benfleet operation running smoothly, safely and on time. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity in Essex with a long-established UK leader, where your leadership will directly support next-day delivery for thousands of customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day shift activity across picking, packing, replenishment and despatch to hit service levels and deadlines
- Lead, coach and motivate a warehouse team, allocating labour and responding to changing volumes
- Ensure high standards of health & safety, housekeeping and compliance, completing checks and reporting issues
- Monitor productivity and accuracy, investigating errors and driving practical improvements
- Support onboarding and training, promoting consistent processes and a positive team culture

What You’ll Need
- Proven experience supervising within a distribution centre, warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong people leadership skills with the confidence to manage performance and support development
- Working knowledge of warehouse health & safety and process control; FLT experience is desirable
- Good IT skills for warehouse systems and reporting, plus a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
