Penderels Trust is seeking a Male Personal Care Assistant to support a client living in Colchester. This is a rewarding permanent role in Essex social care, offering stable hours, meaningful one-to-one work, and the chance to make a genuine difference every day.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide respectful personal care and support with daily living tasks in the client’s home
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe moving/handling as required
- Support with meal preparation, hydration, light household tasks, and maintaining a clean environment
- Offer companionship and support to maintain independence, routines, and wellbeing
- Keep clear notes and follow agreed care plans, guidance, and confidentiality requirements

What You’ll Need
- Male applicant (occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 due to the nature of personal care)
- A caring, reliable approach and the ability to work sensitively in someone’s home
- Experience in care is helpful, but training can be provided for the right person
- Good communication skills and willingness to follow safeguarding and privacy policies
