Class 1 HGV Drivers

Key Responsibilities
- Complete Class 1 trunking and delivery runs safely and on time across Essex and the wider UK network
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with company and DVSA requirements
- Communicate clearly with transport planners, customers, and the warehouse team to ensure smooth collections/deliveries
- Follow all tachograph, WTD, and route compliance procedures
- Maintain professional standards of driving, paperwork, and POD completion

What You’ll Need
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence with Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Solid knowledge of drivers’ hours, safe loading practices, and compliance
- A reliable, punctual approach with a strong focus on customer service
- Previous trunking or distribution experience is desirable, but strong attitude matters most
