Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with autism and additional needs
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, differentiated learning activities
- Support communication, sensory regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Help implement EHCP targets and contribute to progress observations and records
- Promote independence, social skills and wellbeing throughout the school day
What You'll Need
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school, care or community settings)
- A patient, proactive approach and confidence working with autism and complex needs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to learn specialist strategies
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) and a commitment to safeguarding
