HGV Driver

WPRG Ltd is hiring an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for ongoing day work supporting tarmac and construction deliveries from Stanford-le-Hope (SS17). If you want steady Monday to Friday work, early starts, and great hourly rates in Essex, this is a solid opportunity with a well-established logistics operator.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive Class 1 vehicles on daytime routes delivering tarmac and construction materials
- Complete deliveries to construction, infrastructure and industrial sites across Essex and surrounding areas
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
- Follow site rules, safe loading/unloading procedures and tachograph regulations
- Maintain professional communication with transport teams and on-site personnel

What You'll Need
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with a current CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Proven experience in tarmac, aggregates or construction site deliveries
- Strong understanding of road safety, working around plant, and site compliance
- Reliable approach to early starts (typically 06:00) and consistent weekday work
