Year 5 Teacher

TLTP Education is recruiting a Year 5 Teacher for a welcoming, supportive primary school near Romford in the London Borough of Redbridge. This is a fantastic Essex/London fringe opportunity to step into a thriving Key Stage 2 setting for the Summer Term, with excellent daily rates and strong school leadership behind you.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Year 5 lessons aligned to the national curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports progress for all learners
- Assess learning effectively and provide clear feedback to pupils and parents/carers
- Work collaboratively with KS2 colleagues, support staff and SLT to maintain high standards
- Manage behaviour confidently and keep safeguarding and wellbeing at the centre of practice

What You’ll Need
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent primary/KS2 classroom experience
- Strong curriculum knowledge across Year 5 and a proven ability to raise attainment
- Confident classroom management and the ability to build rapport quickly
- A proactive, team-focused approach; experience in Redbridge/Essex schools is desirable
