Frequently Asked Questions

What is solution focused hypnotherapy

It combines modern neuroscience, talking therapy and hypnosis to help you focus less on the problem and more on the changes you want to make.

What can hypnotherapy help with?

It can be helpful for issues such as anxiety, confidence, phobias, sleep, stress, habits and weight management. Everyone is different, so we’ll discuss what you’d like to change during your initial consultation.

3. Will I be in control during hypnosis?

Absolutely. You remain in control throughout the session. Hypnosis is a relaxed, focused state — you won’t be made to do or say anything against your wishes.

How many sessions will I need?

There’s no set number because everyone responds differently. We’ll regularly review your progress and focus on the changes that matter most to you.

What does a hypnotherapy session feel like?

Most people describe it as deeply relaxing, a bit like being absorbed in a good book or daydreaming. You’re awake and aware, but your mind is able to focus in a different way.

. Do I need to have tried hypnotherapy before?

Not at all. You don’t need any previous experience. I’ll explain everything clearly and guide you through the process, so you can simply relax and take it one step at a time.
