Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Year 4 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Harwich, Essex, starting June 2026. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity through to July 2026, ideal for a confident KS2 teacher who wants to make a real impact in a coastal Essex community.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Year 4 lessons aligned to the National Curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports progress for all pupils
- Assess, track and report on attainment, using data to inform next steps
- Work collaboratively with KS2 colleagues, support staff and parents/carers
- Contribute to wider school life, including meetings, interventions and enrichment activities

What You'll Need
- QTS (or equivalent) and recent experience teaching in UK primary schools
- Strong knowledge of KS2 expectations, particularly in English and maths
- Confident behaviour management and the ability to build strong pupil relationships
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
