HGV Class 2 Driver

Join Philip Grahame International as an HGV Class 2 Driver in Chelmsford, delivering quality cable containment products across Essex and beyond. Based at our Springfield Business Park factory, this is a stable, full-time driving role with a respected local manufacturer and a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete multi-drop deliveries of cable containment products to trade customers and sites, ensuring safe and timely service
- Carry out daily vehicle checks, keep the cab clean, and report defects promptly
- Load/unload and secure goods correctly, following manual handling and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and communicate professionally with customers and the transport team
- Adhere to drivers’ hours, tachograph rules, and company policies at all times

What You’ll Need
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence with Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Proven experience in a delivery or distribution driving role, ideally multi-drop
- Good local knowledge of Chelmsford/Essex routes and a customer-first attitude
- Reliable, safety-conscious approach and confidence with paperwork and basic checks
