Housekeeper - Bank

Cherry Wood Grange Care Home in Chelmsford is looking for a reliable Housekeeper (Bank) to help keep our home clean, safe and welcoming for residents, visitors and colleagues. This is a flexible zero-hours opportunity in Essex with great hourly pay and the chance to join a friendly, supportive care team.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas and staff spaces to a high standard
- Follow infection control procedures and COSHH guidelines when using cleaning products
- Replenish supplies (linen, toiletries and cleaning materials) and report stock needs
- Dispose of waste safely and support laundry tasks as required
- Spot and report maintenance issues, hazards or resident-related concerns to the team

What You'll Need
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (care home, hospital, hotel or similar is desirable)
- A positive, can-do attitude with pride in delivering consistently high standards
- Good timekeeping, reliability and the ability to work independently on bank shifts
- Understanding of hygiene, infection prevention and safe working practices (training provided)
