Key Responsibilities
- Maintain constant poolside vigilance and proactively prevent accidents and unsafe behaviour
- Respond quickly and calmly to incidents, delivering first aid and emergency procedures when required
- Carry out regular water quality, facility and safety checks, recording findings accurately
- Support a positive member experience by offering friendly guidance and enforcing pool rules consistently
- Assist with opening/closing routines and maintaining a clean, professional poolside environment

What You’ll Need
- A valid lifeguard qualification (e.g., NPLQ or equivalent) and confidence performing rescues
- Up-to-date CPR/first aid knowledge and a strong understanding of pool safety standards
- Great communication skills and a calm, responsible approach under pressure
- Flexibility to work a rota, including early starts, evenings and weekends
