Logistics Specialist

As a Logistics Specialist with Pursuit Resources Group in Witham, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end freight and supply chain operations for a respected manufacturing business in Essex. It’s a chance to step into a pivotal role, keeping domestic and international deliveries running smoothly across air, road and sea.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end freight movements, coordinating air, road and sea shipments
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, compliant deliveries
- Prepare and check shipping documentation, customs paperwork and export/import requirements
- Monitor costs, lead times and service levels, identifying improvements and resolving issues quickly
- Support stock, planning and warehouse teams to maintain efficient flow from supplier to customer

What You’ll Need
- Proven logistics or freight experience within manufacturing, warehouse or supply chain environments
- Solid knowledge of international shipping processes, Incoterms and customs documentation
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple shipments at once
- Confident communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset (Excel/ERP experience advantageous)
