Operations Director

Join Specsavers as an Operations Director in Rayleigh and help launch a brand-new standalone Audiology business located within Sainsbury’s. This is a rare opportunity to combine leadership with ownership, shaping day-to-day operations while building a high-performing team in one of Essex’s most vibrant communities.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead in-store operations across audiology and retail, ensuring smooth, compliant and customer-first delivery
- Build, motivate and manage the team, setting standards for service, productivity and patient care
- Oversee KPIs, budgeting, reporting and performance improvement to drive growth and profitability
- Manage stock, scheduling, supplier coordination and operational processes to maintain excellent availability and efficiency
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure a strong launch plan and an outstanding customer experience from day one

What You’ll Need
- Proven experience in retail operations leadership (store management, multi-site ops, or similar)
- Confidence working with performance targets, commercial decision-making and process improvement
- Strong people leadership skills with a hands-on, collaborative management style
- Desirable: exposure to healthcare, audiology/optical environments, or regulated customer services
