CNC Operator - Joinery

Aldem Talent Ltd is hiring a CNC Operator (Joinery) to join a respected bespoke manufacturer delivering premium furniture, interiors and architectural joinery for commercial, hospitality and retail projects. Based in Romford with great access across Essex, this is a permanent role offering strong pay and stable long-term work in a modern workshop.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate and monitor CNC machinery to manufacture joinery components to spec
- Read and work from technical drawings, cutting lists and job sheets to ensure accuracy
- Carry out in-process quality checks, measuring and inspecting parts to tight tolerances
- Change tools, adjust offsets, and support basic fault-finding to keep production running smoothly
- Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow workshop procedures and H&S standards

What You'll Need
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator within joinery, woodworking, furniture or interiors manufacturing
- Strong understanding of CNC setups, tooling, feeds/speeds, and producing consistent high-quality parts
- Ability to interpret drawings and use measuring equipment confidently (e.g., calipers, tape, gauges)
- Reliable, detail-focused approach and a team mindset; programming knowledge is an advantage
