As a Home Visits Optical Assistant with Specsavers in Romford, you’ll take high-quality eye care out into the community across Essex and Greater London. Key Responsibilities
- Drive to patient locations and support the delivery of home-based eye care services
- Assist the Optometrist with pre-screening, clinical support tasks and patient administration
- Help patients choose suitable frames and lenses, providing clear advice and reassurance
- Handle dispensing support, measurements and adjustments to ensure comfort and fit
- Maintain accurate records, follow infection control procedures, and care for equipment

What You’ll Need
- A full UK driving licence and confidence driving to varied addresses in and around Romford/Essex
- Experience in optics, healthcare, customer service or a patient-focused environment
- Excellent communication skills, empathy and professionalism in patients’ homes
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to work independently
