Kitchen tap swap + check small drip under sink

I’m renting and the kitchen tap is stiff and horrible, landlord’s okayed a straight swap if I cover labour. New tap is a basic mono mixer (already bought) and the sink is standard stainless with one hole. There’s also a slow drip from one of the flexi hoses under the sink that’s started leaving a little crusty puddle. Just want it done neatly with no drama.
