Management Accountant

Greys Specialist Recruitment is seeking a Management Accountant to join a leading UK media, events and publishing business based in Loughton. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role offering real ownership, close collaboration with senior stakeholders, and strong visibility across multiple divisions in Essex.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce monthly management accounts for assigned divisions, including P&L and balance sheet commentary
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, providing clear insights and recommendations
- Partner with divisional directors and senior stakeholders to support decision-making and performance
- Improve reporting processes, controls and month-end routines in a fast-paced finance team
- Assist with year-end requirements, audit preparation, and ad hoc commercial finance projects

What You'll Need
- Proven experience in management accounting (ideally within a multi-division or fast-moving environment)
- Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with strong month-end and reporting capability
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems and large data sets
- Strong communication skills with the ability to challenge, influence and explain figures clearly
