Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily transport operations for container haulage, ensuring maximum efficiency
- Allocate work to drivers, update schedules, and respond to last-minute changes
- Liaise with customers, drivers and internal teams to confirm collections, deliveries and ETAs
- Monitor compliance, safety and service levels, ensuring deliveries are completed on time
- Handle transport paperwork, job tracking and general administrative tasks accurately

What You'll Need
- Proven experience as a Transport Operator/Transport Planner within haulage, ideally container or port logistics
- Strong knowledge of driver hours, transport compliance and safe working practices
- Confident communicator with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Good IT skills (transport systems/Excel) and the ability to stay organised under pressure
