Head of Warehousing & Logistics

Pure Resourcing Solutions is partnering with a high-volume, customer-facing organisation to appoint a Head of Warehousing & Logistics in Witham, Essex. This is a senior leadership opportunity to take full ownership of a complex, multi-site warehousing and transport operation, driving performance, service and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end warehousing and logistics operations across multiple sites, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant delivery
- Set strategy, KPIs and budgets, and optimise resources to improve cost-to-serve and productivity
- Champion operational excellence initiatives (process, systems, layout and automation where applicable)
- Build and develop high-performing management teams, embedding a strong culture of accountability and engagement
- Strengthen supplier, carrier and internal stakeholder relationships to elevate service levels and customer outcomes

What You'll Need
- Proven senior leadership experience in warehousing and logistics within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge of transport, health & safety and compliance, with a track record of improving operational performance
- Commercial acumen: confident managing budgets, forecasting and data-led decision making
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; experience leading multi-site change is highly desirable
