Deputy Manager

Step up into a fast-paced retail leadership role with Aldi in Benfleet. As Deputy Manager, you’ll help run a high-performing store, lead by example on the shop floor, and deliver the friendly, efficient service Aldi is known for across Essex.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager to drive sales, hit targets and deliver excellent customer service
- Lead shifts, allocate tasks and keep the team motivated, trained and supported
- Maintain strong standards across merchandising, stock availability and store presentation
- Monitor costs, reduce waste and improve operational efficiency in line with Aldi processes
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, security procedures and company policies

What You’ll Need
- Previous experience in retail, customer service or a supervisory/team leader role
- Confidence managing priorities, solving problems quickly and making sound decisions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and develop colleagues
- Flexibility to work a rota, including early starts, evenings and weekends as required
