Job Description
Posted 13 Aug 2026Join Leaders in Care as an Autism Assessor (ADOS) supporting a high-demand neurodevelopmental service in Epping and across Essex. This contract role offers excellent earning potential, a consistent caseload and the flexibility to deliver assessments remotely, hybrid or face-to-face.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver ADOS-2 assessments as part of an established autism diagnostic pathway
- Complete high-quality clinical documentation, scoring and reports within agreed timescales
- Liaise professionally with the wider multidisciplinary team to support diagnostic decision-making
- Maintain safeguarding awareness, clinical governance standards and data confidentiality
- Provide a compassionate, person-centred assessment experience for children, young people and/or adults
What You'll Need
- Qualification and experience to administer and score ADOS-2 confidently (ADOS-2 trained clinician)
- Current professional registration where applicable (e.g., HCPC/NMC/GMC) and strong clinical risk awareness
- Excellent communication, report-writing skills and a thorough, evidence-based approach
- Ability to manage your own diary, meet deadlines and work autonomously on a contract basis
