Class 1 Driver

Challenge-trg Recruitment Ltd is recruiting Class 1 (CE) Drivers for a major retail client based in Grays (Tesco Thurrock, RM19 1ND). This is a fantastic Essex contract driving opportunity with weekly assessments, immediate starts, and strong earning potential.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete trunking and store delivery runs safely and on time from the Thurrock depot
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with company policy
- Operate within tachograph, Working Time Directive and road traffic regulations
- Communicate clearly with transport teams regarding routes, delays and PODs
- Maintain professional customer service standards at collection and delivery points

What You'll Need
- Valid UK Class 1 (LGV CE/HGV 1) licence with no more than 6 points (insurance requirement)
- UK digital tachograph card and valid DQC/CPC card
- Minimum 6 months’ UK Class 1 driving experience
- DVLA licence check code available for the assessment/interview process
