HGV Class 1 ADR Driver

A-One Direct Recruitment Limited is looking for a dependable HGV Class 1 ADR Driver (Packages) to support safe, compliant deliveries across Grays and the wider Essex area. Key Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver ADR packaged hazardous goods safely and on schedule
- Complete vehicle checks and report defects in line with DVSA and company standards
- Ensure full ADR compliance: load security, segregation, labelling and documentation
- Maintain accurate records (PODs, transport notes, tachograph hours) and communicate delays
- Provide professional, customer-focused service at collection and delivery points

What You’ll Need
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with CPC and digital tachograph card
- Current ADR certificate for packaged goods (in-date) and strong safety awareness
- Proven experience driving Class 1 vehicles, ideally with ADR or time-critical deliveries
- Reliable, punctual and able to follow procedures and road transport legislation
