HGV Class 2 Driver

Key Responsibilities
- Complete general haulage deliveries across Essex and surrounding areas, ensuring safe, legal driving at all times
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly in line with company and DVSA standards
- Use a pump truck to unload palletised goods at delivery points when required
- Communicate clearly with transport planners and customers to confirm deliveries and handle paperwork
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, punctuality, and route efficiency throughout your shift

What You'll Need
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence with up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Proven Class 2 driving experience (general haulage or pallet work preferred)
- Confident with palletised deliveries and manual handling using a pump truck
- Strong knowledge of drivers’ hours, road safety, and customer service expectations
