Asbestos Surveyor

MULTI TRADES RECRUITMENT LTD is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a well-established, family-run asbestos consultancy based in Wickford (SS11). This permanent, full-time role offers a great chance to build long-term security and progress within a respected Essex team known for quality, compliance and professional service.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out asbestos management and refurbishment/demolition surveys across domestic, commercial and industrial sites
- Produce clear, accurate survey reports including site notes, drawings and material assessments
- Take representative samples safely and in line with HSE guidance and company procedures
- Liaise with clients, occupiers and contractors to explain findings and support next steps
- Maintain calibration, records and documentation to meet UKAS/accreditation and internal standards

What You’ll Need
- Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor in the UK (management and R&D surveys)
- BOHS P402 (minimum); P403/P404 or other relevant certificates beneficial
- Strong knowledge of HSG264, HSE guidance and safe systems of work
- Full UK driving licence, good attention to detail, and confident client communication
