Prospero Teaching is recruiting Supply Teachers and Cover Supervisors for alternative provision settings in Wickford and Basildon, with immediate and ongoing starts. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons or supervise learning activities across a range of subjects and ages
- Manage classroom behaviour positively, creating a calm and purposeful environment
- Support pupils with additional needs, adapting your approach to engage and motivate
- Follow safeguarding and school policies, reporting concerns appropriately
- Provide feedback to staff on attendance, behaviour and progress during your placement

What You'll Need
- Experience working with children or young people (schools, tutoring, youth work or similar)
- Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) and right to work in the UK
- QTS is desirable for teaching roles; cover supervisor experience welcomed
