Accounts Assistant

J-Benn Finance Ltd is a dynamic and actively evolving accountancy practice based in Essex providing outsourced financial services and business coaching. The company has seen rapid growth within its client base, resulting in a need to expand.

The organisation is an established practice that provides accounting, taxation and advisory services to a client base consisting of individuals and businesses.

The successful candidate will gain a wide range of exposure to a variety of accounting processes including bookkeeping, VAT returns, and the preparation and processing of payrolls.

Initially, the role will be part-time, 2 days a week between 9:30 am – 2:30 pm (days to be agreed). It's anticipated that with continued business growth additional hours or days may be available in the future.

You will be a highly numerate professional and keen to gain experience working in accountancy, but additionally, will have an excellent learning mentality and enjoy what is a professional yet friendly working environment.

The successful candidate will receive appropriate in-house training and possible support toward a professional accountancy qualification.

In addition to technical accountancy tasks, the individual will carry out some general office admin duties to support the practice.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £7,020.00 per year
