Key Responsibilities - Design, develop and maintain BSPs, bootloaders and low-level drivers for embedded platforms - Bring up new hardware: debug peripherals, memory, clocks, power and interfaces during early prototypes - Work closely with hardware, firmware and systems teams to define and deliver robust platform foundations - Optimise performance, reliability and maintainability across the embedded software stack - Support integration, testing and release activities, contributing to documentation and best practice What You'll Need - Strong embedded C/C++ experience with hands-on low-level programming and debugging - Proven experience with BSP development, board bring-up and device driver work - Confident using tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes/logic analysers, and version control (e.g., Git) - Desirable: Linux/RTOS exposure, bootloaders (e.g., U-Boot), and CI/testing in embedded environments Why Apply You’ll be trusted to lead meaningful technical work, with hybrid flexibility (3 days onsite/2 remote) and the chance to shape future embedded products in a well-established engineering business.
