Has anyone else had issues with off-lead dogs bolting across the road by the Quay when you’re walking along Riverside Park? Mine’s usually fine, but the mix of cyclists and prams near the Royal Corinthian makes it a bit nervy. Any recommendations for quieter spots or good local trainers around Burnham (maybe someone who does sessions near Marsh Road or the field by the railway line)?

Has anyone else had trouble getting hold of a good cat sitter in Rayleigh for short trips? I’m near King George V Playing Field and would love a local recommendation (or someone you’ve used before) who actually turns up and doesn’t just dump food and go. Has anyone in Great Dunmow got a good recommendation for a local groomer who’s patient with nervous dogs? I usually walk mine round Doctor’s Pond and down Stortford Road, but he’s getting a bit matted and I don’t fancy stressing him out. If you’ve used anyone near the High Street (by the White Hart) or know a decent mobile groomer who comes out to Chelmsford Road way, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
