Leather Technician

Manpower is recruiting a Leather Technician in Witham to support the manufacture of luxury automotive interiors for some of the world’s most exclusive vehicle programmes. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, inspect and handle premium leather materials to meet exacting automotive quality standards
- Carry out cutting, trimming, bonding and assembly processes to produce high-end interior components
- Perform detailed visual and tactile quality checks, identifying defects and ensuring flawless finishes
- Work from engineering drawings, work instructions and specifications while maintaining accurate production records
- Support continuous improvement by highlighting process issues and proposing practical quality solutions

What You’ll Need
- Experience working with leather in an automotive, upholstery, trim or luxury manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity, with a commitment to consistent, high-quality workmanship
- Ability to follow technical instructions, meet production targets and maintain cleanliness/organisation at the workstation
- Desirable: familiarity with adhesives, stitching/finishing techniques, and quality standards within engineering/manufacturing
