Service Engineer

Market36 Recruitment Ltd is hiring a Service Engineer in Witham, supporting customers across Essex with critical compressed air and industrial electrical compressed air systems. If you enjoy hands-on engineering, fault-finding and customer-facing work, this is a brilliant opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong local client base.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair compressed air equipment and electrical industrial compressed air products at customer sites
- Diagnose faults, complete breakdowns efficiently and recommend corrective actions
- Install and commission new equipment, ensuring performance and safety standards are met
- Produce clear service reports, parts lists and job notes, keeping customers informed
- Liaise with the Service/Engineering Manager to plan workloads and support ongoing improvements

What You’ll Need
- Proven experience as a Service Engineer (compressed air, industrial machinery, or similar field-based engineering)
- Good electrical/mechanical fault-finding skills and a practical, safety-first approach
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Witham and wider Essex
- Strong communication skills and a reliable, professional manner on customer sites
