Market36 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Compressed Air Pipe Fitter to join a busy client site in Witham, Essex. This is a brilliant opportunity to secure a permanent role in a specialist engineering environment, working on high-quality compressed air and industrial gas installations across the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Install aluminium, copper, stainless steel and threaded steel pipework for compressed air and industrial gas systems
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and technical specifications to deliver accurate installs
- Measure, cut, thread, bend and assemble pipework to required dimensions and tolerances
- Carry out pressure/leak testing, fault finding and remedial works to ensure safe, compliant systems
- Maintain high standards of site safety, housekeeping and documentation while working to deadlines

What You’ll Need
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter, ideally within compressed air, industrial gases or similar mechanical/process systems
- Ability to confidently read technical drawings and follow installation specs
- Competence with pipe fabrication tools and methods (cutting, threading, bending, jointing)
- Strong focus on safety, quality and teamwork; relevant tickets/CSCS are beneficial
