Estimator (Façades) – Doufre Construction Personell, Basildon

Join a busy pre-construction team pricing specialist façade packages for high-profile projects across Essex, London and the South East. This is a great opportunity in Basildon for an experienced Estimator to step into a growing order book, strong contractor relationships and a clear pipeline of work.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate tenders for façade and building envelope packages, from new build to recladding
- Review drawings, specifications and scope to produce take-offs and detailed pricing
- Obtain and assess supplier/subcontractor quotes, ensuring best value and compliance
- Clarify assumptions, exclusions and programme constraints with clients and internal teams
- Support handovers to commercial/project teams and maintain tender documentation

What You’ll Need
- Proven experience as an Estimator within façades/building envelope (cladding, glazing, rainscreen, SFS or similar)
- Strong understanding of tendering, measurement and pricing methodologies
- Confidence interpreting construction drawings/specifications and communicating commercially
- Good organisation and accuracy; ability to manage multiple bids to deadlines (Excel/estimating software beneficial)
