Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager with day-to-day leadership, clinical governance and safe running of the service
- Lead and coach nursing and care teams, ensuring best practice, compassion and consistency across shifts
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, medication management and clinical documentation to CQC standards
- Help drive quality improvement, audits and incident management, promoting continuous learning
- Build strong relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals to deliver joined-up care
What You’ll Need
- Registered Nurse (NMC) with relevant clinical experience in a care home or similar setting
- Confident leader with strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of CQC compliance, safeguarding, infection prevention and clinical governance
- A warm, approachable style with a genuine commitment to resident-led care (clinical leadership qualifications desirable)
