We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join a well-established 5* care home in Braintree. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring professional with leadership experience to make a real difference in residents’ lives.
About You
You are a caring person with a positive, can-do attitude. You already have experience supporting older people, ideally including those living with dementia. You are confident leading a care team and act as a champion for the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of residents.
You will also have:
- A Level 3 Diploma or NVQ in Health and Social Care
- A good understanding of care planning
- Experience administering medication in line with policies and procedures
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with GPs and other healthcare professionals
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care

Your Role
As a key member of the care team, you will:
- Put residents at the heart of everything you do
- Deliver high-quality care in a safe and dignified manner
- Lead by example, supporting and inspiring your team
- Administer medication in accordance with company policies
- Liaise with GPs and healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive appropriate medical care
- Contribute positively to the success of the home as part of a close-knit, friendly team
You will use your initiative and experience to help maintain exceptional standards within the home.
