Posted 3 Jun 2026Berry Recruitment is hiring an Office Administrator to support a fast-paced client operation near Stanford-le-Hope/Tilbury. If you enjoy customer contact, keeping orders on track, and working in a role where no two days are the same, this is a great opportunity close to home in South Essex.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with customers by telephone, providing clear updates and confirming order requirements
- Make outbound calls regarding the next day’s orders and handle inbound calls relating to same-day orders
- Accurately input and update data across multiple systems, ensuring order information is correct and timely
- Maintain organised records, communicate changes promptly, and support the wider team with general admin tasks
- Work a rotating shift pattern (5 days on / 3 days off) with varying hours depending on the rota
What You’ll Need
- Previous administration, office support, or customer service experience (phone-based preferred)
- Confident communication skills and a friendly, professional telephone manner
- Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and good IT skills (multiple systems)
- Reliable, adaptable approach and able to work effectively in a busy, time-sensitive environment
