After School Club Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic After School Club Assistant to join our team and support the safe supervision and care of children at the end of the school day. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and creating a fun, welcoming environment. This position is 3:30pm - 5:30pm Monday - Friday.

This starts on April the 13th and will be until the end of the summer term.

Working alongside another experienced staff member, you will help supervise children until they are collected by their parents, ensuring they are safe, engaged, and supported. The role involves preparing and leading small activities, games, and quiet play opportunities suitable for primary-age pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, caring, and positive environment for children at the end of the school day
• Support and supervise children during play and planned activities
• Set up and lead small games, arts & crafts, or other age?appropriate activities
• Work collaboratively with another staff member to ensure smooth running of the club
• Maintain good communication with children, staff, and parents
• Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times

About You:

• Enjoy working with children and creating fun opportunities for play
• Reliable, punctual, and confident working as part of a small team
• Positive, patient, and able to engage children of different ages and personalities
• Experience working with children (desired but not essential)
