Nursery Practitioner

Full Time | Part Time | Competitive Salary | Level 3

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our clients nursery on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about early years education and committed to delivering high-quality childcare in line with the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play
• Ensure children’s safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding at all times
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Carry out observations, assessments, and record-keeping
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming nursery environment
• Follow all nursery policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting preferred
• Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding practices
• Passionate, reliable, and caring approach to childcare
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chelmsford CM2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
