Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

This is a days-based, Monday to Friday opportunity in Essex, ideal for a hands-on quality professional who enjoys problem-solving and working in a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and improve site quality processes to drive right-first-time manufacturing
- Investigate non-conformances using root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Conduct internal audits and help maintain ISO-compliant documentation and procedures
- Work closely with Production and Engineering to improve quality performance and reduce defects
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities, including KPI tracking and reporting

What You'll Need
- Experience as a Quality Engineer (or similar) within a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and practical knowledge of RCA tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Ishikawa)
- Confidence interpreting technical drawings/specs and communicating clearly across teams
- Desirable: exposure to ISO 9001, internal auditing, and a continuous improvement mindset
