HR Manager

Reed is recruiting an HR Manager for a thriving SME in the commercial construction, plumbing and heating sector, based in Epping, Essex with regular travel to Camden. This is a brilliant opportunity to shape HR for a growing business, with a competitive salary and flexibility for the right person.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day HR operations across multiple sites, ensuring smooth and compliant people processes
- Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, absence and disciplinary matters
- Manage recruitment and onboarding, helping attract and retain skilled construction and trades talent
- Develop HR policies, contracts and handbooks, keeping up with UK employment law and best practice
- Support training, engagement and culture initiatives as the company scales

What You'll Need
- Proven HR generalist experience, ideally in construction, trades, engineering or a similar fast-paced SME
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and confident ER case management
- Excellent communication skills, able to build credibility with site teams and leadership
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable, plus willingness to travel to Camden as needed
