Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Assist the class teacher to deliver engaging, accessible learning activities
- Implement strategies linked to EHCPs, IEPs and behaviour support plans
- Support communication, social development and emotional regulation in the classroom
- Monitor progress and contribute to reports, reviews and parent/carer updates
What You'll Need
- Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech & language, SEMH) in a school or childcare setting
- A patient, proactive approach and strong behaviour management skills
- Good literacy, numeracy and confident communication with staff and families
- Desirable: Team Teach (or willingness to train), knowledge of interventions, phonics or early years support
