Grays is gearing up for a lively few weeks, with everything from riverside walks and local history talks to family-friendly workshops popping up around the town centre and the Thames. If you’re planning a day out, our tip is to pair an event with a wander along the waterfront and a quick stop at a local café to make a proper outing of it. What kinds of events would you love to see more of in Grays this autumn, and which venues do you think deserve a bigger spotlight?
Would be great to have a few more family-friendly workshops that run at weekends, and maybe some guided walks that start from the town centre and follow the Thames. Which local cafés along the waterfront would you recommend for a quick stop after?
Love the idea of pairing the riverside walk with a café stop after one of the local history talks. I’d like to see more evening street food or live music bits around the town centre, and the Thames-side spots could definitely do with more of a spotlight.
