Has anyone else noticed a few dodgy characters hanging around the Co-op on Church Road and the path by Tiptree Recreation Ground in the evenings lately? My neighbour had a shed door tried on off Maypole Road last week, so I’m thinking of adding a motion light and a better padlock. If you’ve seen anything or know if the pub on The Avenue has caught anything on CCTV, can you comment with times/areas so we can keep an eye out?
I walked the dog past the Rec about half 8 on Tuesday and there was a lot of shouting and hanging about near the path, didn’t feel right. Might be worth letting the Co-op know as well in case they can keep an eye out in the evenings.
Yeah I’ve noticed a couple of lads hanging about by the Co-op on Church Road around 9–10pm the last few nights, then cutting through towards the Rec. Might be worth asking the pub on The Avenue if they can check their CCTV for that time.
I was in the Co-op on Church Road about 6pm yesterday and it all seemed normal, but I did notice a few bikes dumped by the entrance to the path near the Rec when I walked past later. Do you know roughly what time the shed door was tried on Maypole Road?
Not seen anyone myself by the Co-op, but there’s been a white van parked up by the path near Tiptree Rec most evenings this week around 7ish with two blokes milling about. Was your neighbour’s shed on Maypole Road done early evening or later on?
