Maintenance Engineer - Electrical & Mechanical

Join OnetoOne Personnel as a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) in Witham, supporting a modern manufacturing site for a leading UK manufacturer. This is a stable, hands-on role with a strong Monday–Friday routine and the chance to work on well-invested machinery and continuous improvement projects in Essex.

- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment to keep production running smoothly
- Diagnose faults quickly, troubleshoot breakdowns, and implement effective repairs to minimise downtime
- Support machine installations, upgrades, and improvement works across the factory
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, complete reports, and follow safe systems of work
- Assist with root cause analysis and suggest practical solutions to improve reliability

- Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in a manufacturing/production environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills (3-phase, control panels, motors, sensors) and solid mechanical knowledge (bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics)
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and communicate clearly with production teams
- Relevant engineering qualification (apprenticeship/NVQ/City & Guilds) and a safety-first mindset
