Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a full-time, long-term role in Grays, Essex starting September 2026. Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils, including those with SEN and additional needs
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, resources, and classroom routines
- Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a calm, focused learning environment
- Support pupils’ social, emotional and academic development throughout the school day
- Contribute to safeguarding, record-keeping and communication with staff as required

What You’ll Need
- Previous school experience in the UK (essential)
- Proven experience supporting pupils with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH) and adapting support accordingly
- Confidence managing behaviour and supporting whole-class learning when needed
- A patient, reliable approach and strong communication skills; relevant training is desirable
