Agricultural Field Service Engineer

Alexander James Recruiting Ltd. is hiring an Agricultural Field Service Engineer to support a leading agricultural machinery dealer serving Halstead, Essex and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair a wide range of agricultural machinery including tractors, harvesters and associated implements
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults on-site and complete repairs efficiently
- Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and pre-delivery preparation to manufacturer standards
- Accurately complete job reports, parts usage and service documentation using company systems
- Provide excellent customer support, advising on best practice and preventative maintenance

What You’ll Need
- Proven experience as an agricultural engineer, plant fitter or field service engineer (mobile role preferred)
- Strong fault-finding skills across engines, hydraulics, electrics and diagnostics
- Full UK driving licence and confidence working independently across Essex
- Relevant engineering qualifications and manufacturer training are desirable
