Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support to individuals with daily routines, personal care and household tasks
- Encourage independence, choice and community involvement, including local activities in Saffron Walden and surrounding areas
- Build positive, respectful relationships and support individuals to achieve personal goals
- Maintain accurate notes and follow care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures
- Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and external professionals to deliver consistent support

What You’ll Need
- A caring, reliable approach and a genuine interest in social care (experience welcomed but not essential)
- Confidence communicating clearly and calmly, with good listening skills
- Willingness to work shifts as part of a 39-hour week (including weekends/bank holidays as required)
- A commitment to dignity, inclusion, and keeping people safe (training provided)
