Key Responsibilities - Provide excellent customer service on the shopfloor, helping customers find the right products and solutions - Operate specialist equipment safely, including sawmill, paint mixing and (where trained) forklifts - Maintain strong store standards through merchandising, stock rotation and shelf replenishment - Support goods handling in line with safe working practices, with reasonable adjustments available where needed - Work as part of a supportive team across flexible shifts over 7 days (16 hours per week) What You’ll Need - A positive, can-do approach and confidence speaking with customers face-to-face - Reliability and the ability to work flexible part-time shifts, including weekends - Comfort with a hands-on role involving building materials and manual handling - Desirable: retail, warehouse or builders’ merchant experience; equipment/forklift training (or willingness to learn) Why Apply You’ll be part of a well-known UK builders’ merchant with training on specialist equipment and opportunities to develop.
