UBT is hiring a Procurement Manager in Colchester to take ownership of a growing procurement function within a successful UK manufacturing business. This is a great Essex opportunity for someone who wants real influence, visible results and the chance to strengthen supply chains across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement activity, ensuring best value, quality and continuity of supply
- Build and manage supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, terms and service levels
- Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies and KPIs to improve performance
- Work closely with production, engineering and finance to align purchasing with demand and budgets
- Identify risk, drive cost-saving initiatives and support continuous improvement projects

What You’ll Need
- Proven procurement experience, ideally within manufacturing, engineering or a fast-paced supply environment
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence managing supplier performance and contracts
- Analytical approach to cost control, data-led decision making and process improvement
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate clearly across teams
